We keep getting this in our web applications. The reason is Microsoft Internet Explorer is unable to determine if the SRC attribute of the IFRAME is secure or unsecure. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;261188
(Firefox doesn’t have this problem.)
Sybase web datawindow will generate No-SRC IFRAME if the datawindow has a datetime type column in it. Some people said that datawindow with dropdown list type field will also get this No-SRC IFRAME, but I tested out it’s not true. The date-time column is the only reason for this No-SRC IFRAME.
To fix this problem,
- If it’s a read only dw, make sure all the fields’ tab order are set to zero. (e.g., the use of pereeds field in d_display_general_licence is set to 10, not 0, whick caused rut_licence_details has a iframe in it.)
- For editable dws, try to remove datetime field from dw’s sql statement. By doing datetime conversion and parsing in BO, GLS web application is now iframe free.
